Looking at these carbon figures makes our task look pretty daunting. But beginning to respond to the threat of global warming actually just comes down to making day-to-day changes to the way we operate.

To help us identify the areas where our business was doing the most damage, and therefore where our best opportunities to reduce emissions were, we worked closely with partner organisations to determine our Carbon Footprint for the years 2001 and 2006. In doing so we also created a set of benchmark figures against which we could measure our improvement in subsequent years.
