The eight years between 2001 and 2009 have seen the size of our business, and its geographical coverage, expand considerably.  The equally considerable reduction of our carbon emissions in that time is made all the more positive for this, but we can’t take all the credit.  We’ve been incredibly lucky in having the support of all sorts of organisations – the FTA, Carbon Trust, and Heriot-Watt University to name a few – along the way, and it’s exactly this kind of collaborative approach to carbon efficiency that we want to cultivate throughout our supply chain.   But we know too that we must continue to lead by example – the slideshow below reviews Menzies Distribution's journey so far, and where we and our industry colleagues can go from here.
